Pick your kind of job

Each guide lists the templates that fit, the features that matter for that job, and straight answers to the questions people ask first.

One set of tools for all of it

Every use case on this page runs on the same app. You place text frames, pictures, shapes, and tables on a page, and you can snap them to margins, folds, guides, and each other. Text can flow from one frame to the next across pages, master pages hold repeating headers and page numbers, and a CSV can drive a mail merge of up to 500 records per print run.

When you are done, choose Print / PDF and Save as PDF. Fonts embed in the PDF so a printer sees the type you chose, and you can turn on bleed and crop marks. Booklet and Multiple per sheet printing handle folded programs and small formats such as business cards. Every project also downloads as a .bboss file that you keep on your own computer.

Coming from Microsoft Publisher? BrochureBoss imports .pub files as editable layouts. Start with a Microsoft Publisher alternative, learn how to open a .pub file without Publisher, or see how to convert a .pub file to PDF.

BrochureBoss is software, not a design or printing service. It does not offer turnaround times, paper stocks, or delivery. You make the file and you print it. See the full feature list, including what is not built yet, and pricing.

Questions

  • What can I make with BrochureBoss?

Flyers, brochures, newsletters, bulletins, menus, programs, posters, certificates, business cards, postcards, letterhead, and mailing labels. There are twelve templates, and you can start from a blank page in Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4, or a custom size.

  • Is BrochureBoss only for real estate?

No. It is a general desktop-publishing app. Real estate agents use it for listing flyers, and so do small businesses, restaurants, churches, schools, clubs, and event organizers, and anyone who needs certificates or awards.

  • Do I need design experience?

No. Import what you already made, or start from a template and replace the text and pictures. Items snap to the margins and to each other as you drag.

  • Does BrochureBoss print or design things for me?

No. It is software you use yourself. You save a PDF through your browser’s print dialog and print it on your own printer or at a print shop.

  • Can I bring in my old Publisher files?

Yes. Use Import .pub. Your file opens as an editable layout. It is an approximation rather than a pixel copy, and the app lists what it could not bring across.

  • Is it free?

Yes, during the browser beta. A downloadable desktop app is planned for early 2027 and its pricing is not set yet. See pricing.
