The printed pieces most small businesses need

Most small businesses end up with the same short list: a brochure for the counter, a flyer for the community board, a price list or rate sheet, letterhead for quotes and letters, and a business card. BrochureBoss covers each one, and because you work in text frames and pictures that you place yourself, the result looks like your business and not like a form.

Price lists and rate sheets are a table: add rows and columns, shade the header, set the grid weight, and type straight into any cell. Letterhead lives on a master page, so your header and footer repeat on every page. Customer letters can be merged from a CSV, one printed copy per record.

Templates to start from

Start from one of twelve templates and replace the words and pictures.

  • Tri-fold brochure

Letter landscape with fold guides, headline, and text frames ready to fill.

  • Price list

Built on a table, so services and prices line up in columns. Add rows as the list grows.

  • Letterhead

A header and footer on a master page, with room for the body of the letter.

  • Business card

3.5 x 2 inches with bleed set for a print shop.

  • Event flyer

Big type and a gradient banner for a sale, an open day, or a seasonal offer.

  • Postcard

6 x 4 inches with merge fields for mailing to your customer list.

Keep your details consistent

Open My details once and enter your business name, tagline, address, phone, email, website, hours, and license or registration number. Documents that use those fields pick them up, so the phone number on the brochure matches the one on the card. When something changes, Find and replace updates a price or a number across the whole document, and Save as block stores a logo lockup or a footer you want to reuse.

From idea to print-ready PDF

  1. Choose a template or import

Pick a template, start from a blank page, or import an old Publisher file with Import .pub.

  2. Put your business in it

Replace the sample text, place your logo and photos, and set your fonts and colors.

  3. Check and save a PDF

Run Check for spelling and low-resolution pictures, then Print / PDF and Save as PDF. Download the .bboss file to keep a copy on your own computer.

Straight talk: BrochureBoss is not a print shop or a design agency. You make the file, and you print it yourself or take the PDF to a printer. Fonts embed, and you can add bleed and crop marks. Colors are RGB, so a shop that needs CMYK separations converts them. Tables cannot merge cells yet.

Questions

  • What can a small business make with BrochureBoss?

Brochures, flyers, price lists, letterhead, business cards, postcards, and mailing labels. There are twelve templates, or you can start from a blank page in Letter, Legal, Tabloid, A4, or a custom size.

  • Do I need design skills?

No. Start from a template and replace the text and pictures. Items snap to the margins and to each other as you drag, so a page lines up without much effort.

  • Can I use my brand fonts and colors?

You can choose from 26 fonts and set the color of any text or shape. Uploading your own font files is not something the app lists today.

  • Will my print shop accept the PDF?

For most jobs, yes. Fonts embed, and you can turn on bleed and crop marks. Colors are RGB, so a shop that needs CMYK separations will convert on their end.

  • Can I send a letter to every customer on my list?

Yes. Load a CSV, insert fields into the letter, step through the records on screen, then merge and print one copy per record, up to 500 per print run.

  • Can I reuse the layout next month?

Yes. Save projects to your free library, or download a .bboss file and keep it on your computer. Open it later and change the words.

  • Is it free?

Yes, during the browser beta. A free version stays free when the desktop app arrives in early 2027, and pricing is not set yet. See pricing.
